Some might refer to those as guns......

My dad was a beast. I hardly do anything and they grow. Slows me down big time in my sport though but can't get rid of them. This was me after 3 months of working out back in 2008.

Triathlon is the most addictive sport I've ever done. And I've done a lot.

I feel the same way. I've had two knee surgeries in the past 2 1/2 years and realize I should stop but I can't. I have fallen in love with Ironman distance. I'm rehabbing now and can't wait to start training again. It's crazy to even admit this but I love feeling the pain that comes with training for hours on end. There's nothing like it.

Ha - well, it's not the pain of training I liked, but crossing the finish line, and trying to do it faster than the last time, is pretty damn awesome.

I blew out my ACL and meniscus in judo, and my knee hurts just from walking through the woods hunting. I've been afraid to run on it.

It really is crazy how addictive triathlon is. When I did my first race, a bunch of people told me it wouldn't be my last. They were right about that.
