What did you pay +/- MSRP?

Faithfully used raptorfinder every morning for months. Used cars.com and autotrader each night. Put in minimum had-to-have options / config and then clicked for sale button to see any for sale. Made calls and asked for Internet sales if they had one. Be ready to buy. I missed 2 by hours and another started at under MSRP and when I said I will take it send me copy of buyers order....it climbed to over MSRP. When I bought mine I learned someone else actually beat me to it, but dealer would not ship cross-country. So takes effort and luck.

The best point you made, was "Be ready to buy." And be ready to get there ASAP, otherwise, it may and probably will walk. I looked for 2 months before what I was looking for popped up.

Most reputable dealers will send you a buyers order and take a deposit.....no way I was driving 3 hours one way on a maybe and that should work if no trade.

This site is loaded with peeps who attempted to do their homework, and not get ripped by dealerships. Most that payed 10+k over MSRP probably don't even know this site exists. Hell, I drove a 2011 Raptor for 100K miles, i never knew this site existed. Did not discover it until i started my search for a truck that was not marked up $5+K over MSRP. And for sure, for those who do use this site, and paid grossly over MSRP, you will not hear from them, although there are a few who openly admit to $5K over.

100% agree with this. Even some of the dealers I spoke with when searching for mine were (or perhaps "acted") super surprised when I told them there were plenty of raptors going for MSRP or slightly above. Some said that They were purchasing them from other dealer for $7500 over, and marking them up to $10k over. So apparently there are some very stupid and/or very wealthy people that wipe there asses with 100 dollar bills out there. But I appreciate them helping us smart people get better resale on our trucks And on another note I'm so stoked I finally found the Raptor I wanted, got to order it to spec, and for msrp + shipping because man it was discouraging trying to find one, let alone find one that wasn't $10k+ over. Such a relief

Paid $5k over. It was 10k and I strutted out like "you will call me". Spent all weekend calling dealers within 500 miles....no dice. Got them down to $5k and it's exactly how I would have ordered...AG no decal kit, bed lined and 802a with sunroof. They had it, I wanted it and can afford it , so I paid. No time to hunt or travel and I am a professional sales manager for a living. I understand the game and didn't want to play. I lost and still feel I won

Dealer that I had bought trucks from before had one come in with the exact options and color I had wanted.
Salesman called me on a Friday night at 5:30pm, I was home at 10PM with my new truck!
They took my 2014 F150 4x4 on trade, I paid MSRP + 5000 ADM.
Couldn't be more pleased with the purchase, no issues for me with the ADM.
Like an option, I just considered it part of the cost of buying the Raptor!
