What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Man I have the hardest time cutting a hole in my bed. Not sure why, some weird OCD thing I guess.

Going with RPG cantilever set up. Going to give 18 inches rear travel, so should be same as a bypass set up.

I can't explain it, but when I first saw it and it got in my brain I had to have/try it.

Some may 2nd guess and that is fine, I have wasted more money on stupider shit.

At one time I owned 1 of only 3 supercharged Taurus SHO's (original Yamaha engine) that didn't turn out so well. Engine tuning was NOT where it is now in 1999. (Especially on an OBD1 set up).

Make a tread on the install. I looked at that setup but heard mixed reviews. So Sawzall it was.

Yea I will start thread and document.

I couldn't find a ton of information and the only problem I can see (but I am blind some times) is wear on the pivot point/shaft.

I am okay with some maintenance as this is not a daily driver and is to me a toy.

Cantilever set up was ordered about 11 days ago. So I Will get everything I can installed in the next two days. Enough to move it around the shop/parking lot. Until it arrives. I have a trip planned last week.of December so I hope it arrives soon.

Installed a set of Morimoto XB Tail Lights that I picked up from 4x4truckleds. I couldn’t find many threads where these were installed on a raptor so thought I’d share. They match the Morimoto third brake light and marker lights well. I went with the smoked version and am very happy with them. I had some reservations and almost went with red, but am glad I chose these. They look oem-ish and are much brighter/more vivid than the stock lights.

are these direct plug & play and do they keep all the same functions ?

Do you have live valve? If so, how do upper an arms work with live valve sensor and a short vid on the tie rod end links would be helpful. You are gonna be tired this evening.

Install is super easy, they come with detailed instructions. You have to transfer your Bliss(?) module and configure the wiring to LED from halogen. I suck at wiring and found it to really easy. No splicing, just removing some plugs and then plug them in.
I have the XB headlights coming, a little more difficult to get DRL and Bugatti start up sequence wired up.

I have a cantilever setup on my Jeep JK in the rear. It works very well and has pretty great travel with short shocks. Interested to see it on a raptor. Can't wait.

Installed Factory under seat storage.
I miss the one on my old Superduty, so I decided to install one in the Raptor. I know there are plenty of aftermarket options out there… but I’m partial to oem/factory fit and finish. Turned out it was more work than just bolting her in… but it was worth it.
