What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Brake lines AND limit straps all in one.

I never understood why they put the limit straps so close together………..

But it is very efficient to let them pull double duty.

How long of a brake line did you go with? I installed a +2 and hope that's enough.

Otta be able to tell that rather quickly with the truck up in the air/on the lift.

LED tag lights and rear Morimoto side marker lights installed.



The fronts are a major PITA, especially if you have large hands. Still struggling with those. Had to take a break before I lost my **** and broke something.

Okay, I feel stupid now. Not sure what I was doing wrong but after I took a break I got both the fronts in a matter of about 10 minutes...

We’ll i’m in the middle of replacing this leaky pinion seal … PITA but taking it slow.

That is the way it goes. When frustration sets in, step back take a break.

I have fixed more cars while working on other cars than you can probably imagine.

So I jacked up the silvery trim on my steering wheel. Fixed it with carbon fiber trim from Amazon, Raptor lettering from a vinyl shop online, and black Ford emblem from Etsy. Also used some left over red vinyl wrap to cover the faded leather strip. Turned out really nice.

Is that a double sided tape on piece or a replacement?

Double sided tap piece. Didn’t feel like removing the airbag for a replacement piece.
