today... extended rear brake lines, and flushed all the brake fluid with Motul RBF600 ..

Im not super happy with this, as it looks like it they might touch the driveshaft under compression.. i dont really have a way to bump it out, so i guess i'll keep eyes on it.. steel braided with kevlar should be ok for some driveshaft rubs though, and close to 5 inches away at ride height... also, i ziptied them together after these pics.. prob bend the axle side bracket up a bit more too...

Gotta fix that exhaust hanger tomorrow and then break it again this weekend 20230510_200641.jpg20230510_200109.jpg

I was told they would need my truck for a week, diagnose, get the repairs approved by the ford extended warranty and I said **** that, I'll do it myself. I ordered the parts needed for the repair and I'll hopefully do it this weekend.
No doubt, best decision of the day ! More, best decison of the month !

I notice you made your own "delete end pipe"(clearence exhaust) I know there is the KHC , but not cheap and you can't put the spare tire , so I need to go to something like you bc I really don't like the OEM dual exhaust end look ... What about noise and smell of smoke in your case ?

It's a bit louder, especially in the back seat.. cutting and welding was required to flip the pipes over and then sawed them off after I put the muffler back on. I changed to a corsa resonator delete for a bit more sound.. it's not crazy loud and I don't notice any smells..

How long of a brake line did you go with? I installed a +2 and hope that's enough.
