What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Pulled this out of my rear tire. It was through one of the chunky sections. Hoping it wasn't intentional. Figured if it was, it would've gone through the sidewall.

No, it's not redundant. You should still pull the cover off and inspect your differential after draining the fluid. I take Brake Part Cleaner and blast all the oxidation off the rear differential assembly to insure I get any wear metals and old fluid off the unit. The Lube Locker is an excellent product. Most people use one for how easy it makes taking off and putting on your differential cover rather than dealing with RTV.

Had tire patched, but don't trust it. It's about a 1" slit in the tire.
My grand kids ride in it sometimes. Time for a new tire.

Someone actually patched a 1” slit? They must want to get sued when it fails and you wreck the truck. The industry standard is to not repair anything over 1/4” and not within 1” of the shoulders. Different companies recommend only a certain number of repairs or position of repairs. Some of my auto dealer clients have stopped doing any tire repairs because of the lawsuits they’ve lost when the repair fails.

Got it dirty. Out in Lucerne/Johnson Valley. Was chasing a 1600 car during the MORE PCI Radios 300 race. Pre-ran parts of the course Friday, staged at RM 48 for the race.

Attempted to install the ADD ACC relocation bracket. Everything was going great until I was ready to put it all back together and the factory harness will not reach to the module to the new location. I even tried unclipping the harness from the two mount points but it just isn’t long enough. Drilled another hole in the bottom of the grill to give me more length, nope still not happening. Apparently the module in the 17/18’ was different and figured the harness reached on those.

Does anyone make a pigtail extension or have others cut the 4 wires and spliced in more wire to extend it? This is for a 2020.
