Having a ceramic coating on your vehicle especially something as large as a Raptor is definitely a plus. Rain, mud and dirt all basically rinse or wipe off the truck. My friend did his Trackhawk and talked me into doing the Raptor so I managed ceramic coat my Raptor and 4 wheels for less than $100. Bought the large container of Cquartz Ceramic Coating on sale along a large bottle of Reload with some extra pads and cloths. I washed and cleaned up the truck on Friday and ceramic coated it on Saturday. I did 2+ applications of CQuatzs and hit it with the Reload and let it sit for a few days. If you have the space, time , patience and have ever waxed a car you can ceramic coat any car. Here’s a picture of my truck that I haven’t washed in about 3 weeks

I love the distinction.

Street queen with big wheels and fenders/bedsides: " I did a widebody kit"

Truck that sees dirt and gets used for the purposes that it was designed for: " I did fenders and bedsides".

I feel like the Gen 2 Raptor turned into parking lot princesses. There are some being used properly for example yours and some others here. But the verbiage in his posts sound like import car show builds. A lot of money and work I can respect that and the truck would do well in car shows cause most don’t understand Raptor life. For me it’s sad it’s like cutting off a dogs balls.

Suspension isn’t done. I tow and haul and take it on trails. So give it time and yes i like it to look good as well.

trust me, my truck has been referred to as " that dope raptor with the carbon fiber widebody kit" more than I'd like. I guess if I cared enough, I'd correct people, but my truck probably wont ever be used for a "car show" ever again. If it does end up at a trade show or something, my preference is that I drag it straight there after about 500 miles in the desert so that it is clear how it gets used.
