Installed a third set of squadron pro fog lights when I swapped out the fog light brackets for my new SPP brackets. Moved the S2 pro lights to my GJ Motorsport third brake light housing. cff442d914240418585d4e8f4f473974.jpg771e0d275b04688ec43bc600cb61182b.jpg

Any purpose to the new 3rd brake light or does it just looks badass? If so how much function does it have ?

Biggest reason for doing this is that you get high mounted lamps for either rear illumination, or rear chase lights (if you go amber).

We've had customers go with all white just to have a ton of rear light.

Rear lighting is the reason I went with it. No formal rides up here or I would have gone amber on the sides.

Do these get hooked up to aux switches most of the time as well?

That's how most do it, but you can completely customize the wiring if you'd like. The standard setup is that the middle light is the cargo light and the two outer lights are powered by an Aux switch. However, you can choose for all 3 lights to be powered by an Aux switch.

Additionally, wiring options are available to make the lights useful as off-brake lights, off-road turn signals, and reverse lights. You've got a few different options to choose from. Happy to go over them with you if you're interested.

What does a bump stop do, and what type driving takes advantage of it please?
It helps with the bottom out. I installed mine and love them, the rear now has 3 inches of insurance and smooths out the ride on big hits. I use mine all the time! Get Deavers while you're at it too

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

I went with it for an unconventional reason. My outside lights are white and of the Work/Scene variety. Ultra wide diffused lighting wrapped around the rear of my truck. They hook up to an upfitter and provide a flood of white light behind me for the campsite. The middle is a red Work/Scene connected to an upfitter and a switch in the bed. Either switch will turn it on. Additionally, there is a potentiometer wired in series after the switches to dim the output of the red light to whatever setting I want. The goal is to provide red light over my truck bed when setting up for an early morning hunt without destroying our night vision. A few lens swaps and I can amber lights if I ever need to go the chase route, but I wanted to see clearly when handling weapons. Successful hunt but it's after sunset? Flip on the white floods and get to work.
