Nice I’ve got the same plans with the GJ bracket. How are you going run the wires?

I fished the wires with a coat hanger under the headliner over to the passenger side trim piece that has the seatbelt. I zip tied both power and antenna wire to what seemed to be the sunroof drain hose and went down to the floor, I only got them to under the passenger seat belt mount on the floor for now. I need to figure out where I want to mount radio.

No I used a switch (right by the washer bottle as pictured ) and wired it to the battery. I didn’t want to tie up a up fitter location for these two little guys. I figure when I need the light I will be right there anyways so it’s easier to flip it when open the hood.

I see the switch now that you pointed it out. You had the same thought I did. When I need the light the switch is right there.

Thanks for the info. Nice they have it as a kit.

No pics, just my sob story. Forked over I don’t know around hundred clams to weather tech for those dumb door mounted sun shades. Never was thrilled with the look but was convinced here they are a good idea to leave windows cracked during hot weather.

The drivers side was ok. The window would just nip it on way up but was fine. The passenger side never worked. It would hit it and go back down. I stuck a hard sponge between the window and plastic thing for two weeks and it seemed to cure it. After a few days the window started to hit it.

No matter what I did the passenger window would not go up past it.

Never even bothered with the rears. Just dumped the garbage in the garbage.

Yes I did call weather tech and they said take it off and reinstall and I did multiple times without success. Oh well.

I have had mine for 2 months now and the passenger one always hits on the way up. I have to press the corner up to close the window all the way. Its a pain in the ass
