It was in rock mode 4L, I high centered on my second day
The night before it rained all night and was windy so it made the tops of the big hills pointy. Nothing I could’ve done really except have a shorter wheelbase. They day before I made it up no issue.
Also sand mode is perfect for dunes when going 45mph or less. Keeps me in the right RPM for torque so mid to low range. Any high speed I just used baja mode.
I ran 20 psi in the front and 17/18 in the back. I didn’t wanna run it any lower as I was cruising over whoops from 45-60mph and didn’t wanna blow my tire off the rim during power slides. Truck performed amazing I really appreciate how good this thing is. At first I was going over whoops at 20/30 and it was rough. I remember reading the faster the better and I tried it and it was the best move I made!
Was important to note it was wet most of the time I was there so there wasn’t much soft loose sand at all

Thanks for the response! And what you described makes sense too. I’m really excited to see how it handles heavily rutted / deep sand at Outer Banks 4x4 beach. Last year i took a Tundra TRDPro... and while i don’t personally think they are in the same class... it’s suspension clearly outperformed many others in terms of the rough stuff. So I’m pretty excited to see how this takes it and the speed with which you could take it. This should be totally different especially with Geisers and Icons! I was thinking Baja mode... but your comments make me think Sand might be way to go since you can’t rip around too fast.
