Two upgrades this week:

1.) new 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs to replace the OEM BFG’s that flat spotted the entire middle of rears. Hopefully the D rating will hold up a little better

2.). E&G gun console vault in the center console.

Where did you order the steering wheel trim from?

Was is difficult to install or pretty straight forward?

Took me about 10 minutes to install. This one is from Carbon Cartel. From what i gathered its the factory trim with carbon laid over it as the back had the same TRW molding numbers. So its factory abs with carbon over it. Its fine for me as its factory fit and really only for looks over weight savings for me. For the install i just found a youtube video. its very simple. The reason i purchased this one is it was the only "real" carbon fiber trim piece i could find.

Looks great!

If that's a factory piece, is the carbon fiber a hydro dipped application?

Thanks for the info. I like how it looks and I prefer the OEM part with the carbon fiber hydrodipped.

I have parts on my Shelby that has been done like this and fit perfect. I tried some real carbon fiber parts and the fit was not to my liking.

Thanks again.

Its not hydro dipped. Its actually carbon fiber. I assume they just wrap the the abs trim and cover it in resin etc.
