Installed Baja Designs lower grill light bar, but decided to buy an extra lower grill from ebay, cut out the center to match the light bar size and extend the bar with longer bolts so it sits flush with the grill opening. Looks factory and no light blockage from grill. I love a clean install.

Looks great. Was thinking of doing something like that myself.

all I want to know is how the heck did you get to the release mechanism in the first place?! I can't even get a view down the back of the seat let along get something down there to open it.

:bowroflwerd6:

It was a pain in the ass... Don’t know if the SCAB seat is different, but lifting the seat bottom didn’t do squat to move the seatback forward on my truck. Removed the headrest and had my very fit son pull the seat forward enough to fit my big blocky paw down there with a hook-end probe (think screw driver, but pointy and with a hook-shaped end).

Figuring out where the actual release was located was the hardest Part for me.

I totally agree. The Scab seat back does not move when the lower part is lifted up. Worse, mine was shipped with a release, but it was just thrown behind the seat and not hooked up. It was a big pain, but now it is done and I can reach the release.
