Back to this thread, I installed my bakbox yesterday that I got from the rebate in June and some tailgate seals to hopefully keep the dust out next summer. Also last weekend I finally got to test mine out at the dunes. I have to say I really love the power and ride.

Could you post some pics of the extra seals you did around the tailgate? I get so much dust in it, drives me nuts. Especially when I head to the range, all my stuff is covered!

You just cut to size and stick it around the edges of wear the tailgate meets the body.

Installed gorilla brand black lug nuts on my stock wheels...



And realized that the factory did a crappy job mounting the tires. Need to align the barely visible red dot with the valve stem. Will greatly reduce the balance weight requirement.

May wait until I take these off for the VenomRex 601s that are inbound, but I actually like the look of the stock wheel/tire combo so not in a rush. My OCD won’t allow for that crap mount job to stand for long though...

Black chrome...but they still have some kind of gel/film on them; I assume to protect the finish during shipping. They’re wiped down, but not washed yet, so they may wind up a bit shinier.

Got them from CJPonyparts. Cheaper than Amazon, and fantastic customer service.

My black lug nuts are only partially black after a couple tire rotations. They were free with my new wheels so I'm not really surprised.
