This is my biggest gripe too, I can’t get past it. The rest of the truck I like.I like the gen3s front, reminds me of the gen 1.
What i dont care for is that the fender flares arent flush with the body, they almost look aftermarket with how much they stick out
Was it difficult to change the fluids in the transfer case? How many miles on your truck before you change the fluid in the transfer case?
Super easy, but me being a fatty it is tight under the truck with it on the ground You just remove the skid plate, drain and fill with ATF. It's essentially the same process as changing the diff fluid but the transfer case has a drain plug and a fill plug. I was gonna do the front diff today too, but man i tuckered out, maybe tomorrow.Was it difficult to change the fluids in the transfer case? I will say I had no plans to change any of these fluids at 40k miles... the rear diff fluid was still pretty clean, the magnet did have some material on it though. The transfer case fluid seemed dirty AF though.
That was way overdue, cabin air filter.Also did diff this weekend, added a mag hytech cover with it. Only filled like 3.5 qts as i filled thru the factory fill port which was under mag hytechs dip stick marker. Sucks its not true on the capacity but at least some extra and easier changes.
