Sure I understand that, (I did say average). I see brakes last 60-70k regularly with 100k+ on a highway queen.

Personally those type of pads are to hard and eat up the rotor at about 1/5th the rate of the pads.

I was mostly saying I have worked with Brembos and they have a flaw or two also.
Yeah but stop go stop go in Los Angeles is murder on brakes...

How did you torque the new ones? I think the spec is like 11 lb-ft but I have no torque wrench that goes that low.
By feel. I read those torque specs too, but I have never torqued a spark plug in my life. I just snugged them up and gave that little extra slow pull.

She's running fantastic now. That needed to be done.
