So what did that run you with everything?

$725. I paid just over 200 for Eibachs and a little over 500 for install and alignment. The price of the latter varies widely around the country so need to check into your price locally. Some people have installed these themselves but I neither have the specialized tools nor the skill set to tackle that...still would need alignment too.

My little brake paint job (and tow hook paint) was $84 as I bought 2 of the G2 caliper paint sets instead of one. Stage 3 has by far the cheapest G2 paint for some reason.

I’m only a couple of hours south of you in Hippie/Yuppie Missoula.
After seeing your truck I need to add some lights in the bumper, it looks good.

I really love the 360 series light kit only available at SVP (specialty performance parts). I like the way they “fill” in the space better than the 3”squares, which always seem to leave too much gap around them in my opinion. Output is similar to the square smaller Rigids but these have amber backlighting which is on when running lights are on which is a pretty sweet look. Under the lighting forum, check out the Rigid 360 series thread.

Also an easy a kinda cool bling is painting the calipers red (you mighta noticed I painted the tow hooks too). Cheap project though takes a little time to clean and mask everything off really well. I did the G2 caliper paint (cheapest is at Stage 3 Motorsports) for $37. I bought 2 so I could do the front then rear at different times since I only had 2 Jack stands.

What kind of paint did you use for the tow hooks and did you remove them to paint?

Used the G2 caliper paint. It’s really rugged stuff and meant to last. It’s paint brush applied but as I’ve mentioned in the post on brake caliper painting in this forum, you should get some extra small brushes as they get kinda frayed and bushy while painting the calipers. I didn’t even mask off the tow hooks but probably would have been better to do a little masking. Clean thoroughly then wipe down with isopropyl alcohol, let dry and paint. Will need at least 2 coats, maybe 3 (at least 15-20 minutes apart) due to the black color underneath. Wise to lightly sand the tow hooks prior to cleaning. Super easy. Cheapest G2 paint is at Stage 3.

Looks like you need to change your avatar name there chief.

I’ve used this username since I started years ago on Dodgetalk with my first new truck, my 2500 Ram Hemi. I’ve used it on Camaro forums, Power Wagon Forums, and a Hellcat Forum before here. It’s served me well for many years.
