Here are the results - the wheel repair shop that did my wheels convinced me to go with gloss because satin is not as durable - the guy said I'd be mad at him in 6 month because all the rock dings. I still like the look.

I paid $595 including mount/balance and tax - same day service

(pic posted in other thread too - I'm a bit spastic with my new truck and this forum :))

Powder coat is a no brainer for the money. Looks 1000x better.
I think I'm still going Satin though.
Mine is a pavement princess.

Sorry about the bad picture, all those lumens overpower the iPhone sensor.

I definitely like it over the full console versions. Had that in my F350. Also feels much more secure than the ones that just fit in the console. Very solid.

Got my E&G Gun Safe installed today. Fairly straight forward install. Great fit. Thanks to other forum members for some great suggestions. Got it from Apollo Optics. Great service, and a forum supporter.

I live in Florida and have had my concealed weapons permit for many years. I don’t normally carry on me personally, but in some occasions I do. Always have a gun in my truck. Lots of whack jobs out in the world anymore, and Florida seems to have more than usual.

I am a retired firefighter of 29 years so I am usually pretty cautious as I have seen a lot of incidents where innocent people pay the price. The world isn’t getting any safer unfortunately. I plan to move to Montana within the next two years to greatly reduce my chance of a bad encounter.

I am 5’8” and 140 pounds. Makes it a little tough to hide it unless I wear a really baggy shirt. My 9mm shield, is small as I want, but I am too and I don’t want to cause any ruckus by someone seeing my gun, even though I can lawfully carry it on my person.
