No issues at all. It is very firm. Granted my phone wasn't in the holder when I got some air recently. But this is the most sturdy mount I've had. The surprise was that the holder doesn't have sides that you can widen and then release back with springs. I was assuming that was the case. The holder has to widened by loosening two screws. Once you get it to the correct width for your phone, then you tighten the screws back.I was looking at these but was worried the tilt part would get loose offroad. Any issues?

Looks good. BTW, I purchased my Viper from Bill at Woodhouse sight unseen and had it shipped 2000 miles to Maryland. I've shipped it back for service 2x (added the Paxton, MCS suspension, 3.55 quaiffe rear, etc.etc) as Mark J. and team always do a great job and I can trust them. Good luck...
