For the universal mount, our seat bolts are too close together. So I had to use some of the mounting holes to secure the two plates. So I just made new ones, it is more anchored now than it was before.

I didn't have that issue, mine is mounted under the seat posts just fine.

Oh, and I couldn't find the heat gun... so I used a torch instead. After a little too much heat and replacing one of the films, I had it down.

I built and installed some front flaps to protect my bedsides with the running boards removed.

They are 1/4 rubber and are super flexible and light. They should do a great job protecting the truck, and they look pretty racey I feel.

Those flaps are a tad too long for my taste but if that is the look you like, then all that matters. I think mine are about of foot off the ground and protects very well.

Not sure which film, I believe @shooterAMG or @Big Blue can chime in on it.

Thanks, it's just about done... for now... :ROFLJest:

Dude your never done. There is ALWAYS going to be something else. At least that's what I'm learning. I wasn't even going to really do any mods to my 2013 since it's basically my work truck but since being on FRF and seeing all the pictures every ******* body post of their bad ass trucks I just can't stop myself from buying shit for the truck. Lol.
