What are the pros and cons of going this route vs a Lowrance GPS?

I don't know about cons as I've never used a lowrance...

A couple Pros... In my opinion of course
Samsung tab will be compatible with Google earth files. Apple tablets and lowrance will need converted files.. Its always a pain making the other files for people when it's so easy for me to upload/download from to my tablet, especially the files for the Lawrence for some reason...

A tablet can also be used for other things.

Just picked up Dynomax VT mufflers... should eliminate most of the drone, if not all of the drone. Also going to reinforce/add an additional exhaust hanger in preparation for TRR.
