Yep, its really not that hard. Once you pop the leather side pieces off there are 2 set screws that hold the rectangular silver piece in place. You can then slide the whole top piece up and off for further disassembly. You just have to disconnect the small electrical connectors for the T/H and +/- wiring. You need to remove the large trim piece, the part with the cupholders, to get access to the wiring underneath but its easy to get off. Just clips in.

Did you use any special type of paint? What is the finish? Want to paint all the chrome in my cab!

Looks Great!

Installed my new Knuckles with Outlaw/Alpha gussets today..... also with new 3/4" 12 point bolts and spacers, Minimum tensile strength is 170,000 psi on these bolts.

Had to grind about 5/16" off (note screwdriver in 3rd pic) to clearance the spring on the FOX 3.0s, You can see the issue in the 2nd pic, otherwise everything went in pretty smoothly.

I like it...

I dropped in a Ford F-150 rubber bed mat on top of the spray in bed liner, much easier on the knees...

Thanks. It's SEM Color Coat Satin Black. The greatest interior paint you'll find. I got it from Summit Racing. Did all my silver dash pieces. Pics are further up in this thread. Still need to do the speaker grills and door handles. I tried the Duplicolor version which is half the price but it's no where near as good.
