Got my fire extinguisher mount in finally and installed. Should have enough room to get a mount on the other side for the c02 tank.

A big thank you to Chris at Freedom Motorsports for a smooth transaction. Plug and play. Tuner updated, loaded up with tunes, ready to rock. Great follow up and patience with all my questions. Thanks Chris!

Did you completely disassemble the shifter to paint to silver parts?

Yep, its really not that hard. Once you pop the leather side pieces off there are 2 set screws that hold the rectangular silver piece in place. You can then slide the whole top piece up and off for further disassembly. You just have to disconnect the small electrical connectors for the T/H and +/- wiring. You need to remove the large trim piece, the part with the cupholders, to get access to the wiring underneath but its easy to get off. Just clips in.

Thanks Stang. I appreciate the info. I've had to whole console out of my truck so I'm familiar with removing the whole shifter assembly. Just wasn't sure if it could be completely taken apart. Thanks. I'll be painting my chrome pieces soon. I'm going to do the door handles too.
