It's on the back of the head. Pretty safe there and provides added grip. So I've heard...

Had to buy a new key for my Raptor because I broke one of my keys by closing the tailgate on it. The new key however would not program manually so I had to fire up forescan. Forescan was expired so had to get a new extended license and then figure out how to program the key. It turns out that I had to many keys (5) registered so I had to delete all and program the two I wanted. In the end it all worked out and saved a trip to the dealership. Now have two fully functioning keys once again.

At 79k miles I’m thinking mine are due for this.
I purchased it at 59k miles so it’s only been a few years and 20k miles but it doesn’t feel as plush as it did when I bought it. I was hoping to wait till 100k miles but might spring for a new set this year.
