Up fitters are Key on,, I put a power point behind the bullet point. Just to keep the cords managed.
Was thinking about that too ... Is it difficult to run wires to upfitters? Also found this adapter on amazon, suppose to be able to turn power on/off by touching. Gonna give a try.

Ordered a GoPro hero 10 for dashcam and recording. I also have the GoPro attachment on the way for my bulletpoint mount setup
Ive tried using the GoPro for dashcam recording and did not like it, diddnt seem to really work well as a dashcam. I preferred the hardwired version (went with viofo and I now have one in each car as they werent expensive when i bought them) up on the dash that was a bit more purpose built, as it was just simpler to operate on the daily/ set it and forget it.
I just keep the gopro for dirtbiking or other things.

Either way, since 2022 auto insurance premiums are increasing everywhere, so that camera system could pay for itself (or even prevent a policy cancelation) the first time it records an incident.

Real IWE deletes came in. I’d been running stock IWEs just disconnected…until I pulled the CV axle without vacuum which apparently damages the IWEs, causing that really awful popping I posted about. These should go in tomorrow so I can hopefully have my 4wd back. These also have all steel gears which hopefully is stronger than the stock IWEs. I hate that system.

Installed? Read some complain reviews on amazon about noisey after install.

Ordered these too... plan to install wilwood BBK next week, might get these in as well.

I'd definitely like to see a review on these, especially after some time spent driving in  ALL conditions. What's the noise level, the steering feel, the difficulty to install, the fitment, etc. The only reason Dorman hasn't sold MILLIONS of these is either the price, perceived value, or reliability and day to day driving experience.

Not yet. Didn’t have time but plan to knock it out soon. I like that it has a grease fitting for me to fill it and it seems well built. At least better than the stock ones. I ran those unplugged for months with no noise.

Yeah I had been looking at them for a while and decided to jump on it. Steering and noise shouldn’t change at all from how it was since the vacuum to the IWEs has been disconnected since a month after I bought the truck. They seem to be solid.
