There's no shame in applying a Blitzkrieg sticker over the Camburg one. Just sayin'.
Then I might as well put a Raptor R sticker on the truck ;)

Honestly, these are no different than the machined ones. As pretty as they are, I'm happier with these and a full exhaust system for the motorcycle.

I save an average of $50 per fill-up, 3 fill-ups per month ($150 a month).

12 months that's $1,800 or 500-600 FREE gallons of gas per year. That's 15 FREE tanks per year, about 1 per month. Can't beat that!

So it's 55-cents OFF per gallon right off the bat, but then additional $-OFF based on your groacery shopping and other membership perks. So I average $1.50 OFF per gallon typically. EVERY time! :D

Just working it!
I’ve filled up at Kroger a few times simply for the cost savings but I believe they have crappy gas. The few times I filled up using Kroger 89 octane the truck seemed sluggish and even died at a stop once after filling up. Thought it was just my truck, but even filling up the wife’s FX45 I noticed a difference. Maybe it’s just the one by my house, but I haven’t used Kroger gas since. I also stopped using Mapco gas for similar reasons.

We have a pretty big gasoline pipeline and storage facility in Nashville. Our gasoline seems pretty fresh. Got bad gas once, for sure, I don't go to that place any longer.

Kroger is likely supplied fuel by dozens of different suppliers throughout the US- I don't beleive they own any fuel storage facilites or have any fuel transport trucks of their own.

Not saying they do, just saying that fuel comes directly into Nashville via pipeline and for the most part is very clean.

The alternator is at a local reputable shop for a rebuild. I'll keep the case and cover, and put MY alternator back on it. The mount area was clean: no scary stains or rust puddles. And those 3 bolts are definitely reusable.
It's completed. All fresh and zesty, ready to go!

I have had the 1.5 camburg uppers for 7 years and am still on the original uniball. They might not be the most flashy looking but cannot go wrong with anything made by them.
