Installed my new 4" round LED lights up front. These are a spot light. The old ones were supposed to be spot lights but didnt spot that well. I also modified SW1 upfitter relay to turn on the new lights with the high beams. I didn't like having to hit the switch and the high beam switch to kill the lights with oncoming traffic. Now they are armed with SW1 on and kick on and off with the high beams. Tried them in the driveway and they seemed pretty good.
Now to give them a test in the dark on the road.

Does B C require the front license plate? Here in kalifornistan it's "required" but I've only been pulled over 2X in 40 years for no front plates so I'm going to stuff in a 20" lightbar in that opening.

Yep that's my plan. Throw it in some rust remover for a few hours.

Was on my way to see my Mom at her retirement community and suddenly on I75 with just a few miles to go, the big battery idiot light flashed! Looked over at my programmer/SCT Tuner, the alternator quit! So, as I was losing voltage I tried to make it at least to her place. I only made it into the village property and called AAA. Could’ve been worst, on a Sunday, Labor Day weekend and Mom is getting a pacemaker on Tuesday! IMG_0511.jpeg

Anyway, looked up a few possibilities for an upgrade… DC alternators in CA, expensive and a modest increase in amps, over stock…JS-alternators in SC, slightly more cost, but much more amps over stock…(is there a point that too much amps is too much?). And then the local parts stores with remfc and or same stock amps or slightly more at a cheaper price point? Hmmm ? What would U do?
