Had some plastic break on me a few months back, temporary fix while waiting for parts and the time to actually get it done was a small drilled hole with a zip tie. Further investigation revealed that not only was the controller panel broken but so was the mounting shroud, so had to order more parts of course. But I'm pleased with the end result today, just about an hour and a half of sweat, cursing, and a small amount of blood while complaining about engineers... cause heaven forbid theres a few bolt heads showing, gotta hid all that with little plastic clips that are almost impossible to get ALL of them back in place. Not to mention one specific clip that I'm pretty certain they never intended anyone removing. Ever. But can finally remove this from the to do list.

That place takes a lot of abuse, seen many vehicles come through with them broken.

Sure am glad I no long am a Jeep owner. Popped onto a Jeep forum I used to frequent because I received a DM and man... its just rubber duck talk. No more gear ratio talk, no more suspension discussion, hell not even light bar chat.... just ******* rubber ducks.

@SJC8713.... why? I don't even remember what thats called but I seem to recall a conversation that its somewhat necessary.

That block is for taming some NVH Ford found when testing. You find them in a lot of vehicles. They do something when new, but when the rubbers are broken/ old, it just rattles real bad.
