What did u do to your raptor today?

Changed oil in the differential and transfer case. Engine and front case tomorrow.

Any tips or tricks to getting this done? Or is it straight forward?

I didn't remove the differential cover. I used a vacuum pump from Amazon. Took a while but I got all of it out. I had a plastic paint mixing bucket with a measure scale on it. I used Valvoline oil which comes in a bag. Refilled until it ran back out.

Transfer case was easy. I put an old icecube tray under the drain and tilted towards a bucket. Didn't remove anything except the plug. I used the same pump I used to remove oil, to refill the transfer case. ( Thoroughly cleaned before using it to pump different oil back into the case.)

I will use the same pump on the front case.

Weekend project parts are here: rebuilt the steering rack, bought new sector shafts, injectors, ignition coils, and MSD sparkplug wires for a little bling. I guess I I'll just soak and scrub the fuel rail to clean out the muck.

Rats... I need to remove the skid plate. It seems, the bolts are stripped! Truck has only been serviced here or the dealership. I've never removed the skid plate which leaves.....

The pin in the fuel door failed again. You don’t want a floppy fuel door. I put a screw in the end of the pin this time.

Fuel rail is off & drained. The injectors all seemed like they've never been pulled out. Gas looked & smelled normal, rubber hoses as well.

Just did this on 14k 2010 Gen 1. Was an easy fix but it’s annoying when the door is open all time (let the comments commence).

Finished up my kayak rack.
Held them secure for the test run of 15 miles of twisty gravel road to a mountain lake.
Worked very well, so now to paint it.

I like the set up. Did u buy that pre-made or fab yourself? Looking for something like that for my Gen 1 here in Lemoore.
