Finished up the Long Tube Header install today. Long weekend under the truck. The bolts on the manifold are a pain to get out. Its just some gymnasics figuring out what size socket, with what extension (or wrench) works best. The best part is once you get the manifolds out and you feel like you have a plan for the headers, well yeah, they wont take the same approach. I used a socket and extensions for all but 1 or 2 on the manifold, and a ratcheting wrench for most of the header bolts (used the stock studs). the tubes are in the way for a socket. Actually getting them in place wasn't that bad. once you get the motor up and the manifolds out, my headers slid right in - ish. No where near as bad as others ive had to fight to get in place.

It sounds righteous though. long tube headers to catless Y pipe to dirty deeds side exit exhaust. Quiet is not a word that will come to mind. But actually, at highway speeds, just cruising its really not any louder than before. But stepping on it, yeah its SEVERAL decibels more. LOL

next project. sound deadening the interior. LOL

when was the price jump? I've had mine for several years now. really i got it and replaced my magnaflow because when i went to the Icon leafs and drop shackles, I was having clearance issues at the end of travel. not really a big deal. also when i went to a dovetail rear bumper, the stock exhaust position don't look right at all.

Bunch of stuff done to my 2013 yesterday!
- Morimoto XB headlights
- Morimoto Grill Marker lights
- Morimoto front and rear side marker lights

And the most important upgrade.... SYNC 2 to SYNC 3 swap. Man does all that stuff bring this truck into the 2020's. Apple Carplay is a must at this point. The new USB hub actually is useful for charging your phone too!
I need to do the sync swap at some point for my old truck, I hardly use any of the entertainment features as they're so dated and my phone just seems more intuitive. What's the ball park figure for getting this taken care of?

Theres a few guys selling all the parts as a kit on the facebook raptor pages. I got my kit for $650. Took about an hour to install.

Thats not terrible at all thanks. I deleted fb a while back and all of the groups and got back on recently for a couple nightvision and gun groups that I missed participating in. What group has these people with the kits?
