I was thinking of running two of them with an air tank. You think 1 is enough?
if you want to wait 20 min to fill your tires. even with 2 of them, will take you a while to fill up. the continuous duty compressors are nice because you can run them constantly, but the downfall is the air output. its a trade off.

I've had a dual ARB air compressor I've been planning on putting on my truck for years. The power tank just does it so quick and easily that its just never felt like an issue.

I guess I'll look into something else!
the viair 400c is their most powerful unit. but its 33% duty cycle so you can run it 20-25 min but then it needs 40min to cool down. i have 4 of them in my truck. i can fill 4 trucks from 20 to 40 psi in that 20 min. you can get a 2 pack for around $400 i think. unless price went up. i got the wifes for $350 a pair a year and a half ago. mine have been in my truck for years.

Yea, I was thinking of doing dual 400's with a tank mounted where the spare used to go. I thought about the ARB twin, but I feel like it's pricey for what it is, and I won't be using any of the accessories or brackets ARB offers.

i have a 2 gallon above the spare. i still have a spare in the oem location, plus one in the bed. then theres 2) 2.5 gallon tanks on the passenger side frame and a 3 gallon tank in the bed. gives me lots of air to run the train horn. er....i mean the tire inflator

I wasn't sure what size tank I was going to run, but you think dual 400's would be better than the ARB Twin? I don't have a spare or bracket in the OEM location anymore, so there's tons of space to mount things back there.
