Yes it was time to give Ms. Jenny Big Hips a once over bath and let the rain tonight rinse any water spots. Also, getting ready for a road trip, so I brought out my cheap, but very effective rear seating deck…of course the “Jake“ jumped right in so I won’t leave him behind, hahaha

Yup, Gen 1s cleanup nicely. Even after 12 years!

I just washed the last of NYC STANK off my truck today!
I'm having a hard time with not having stickers on the windshield and no front plate.
I'm going to take her off the market, she's loving her new home and I'm liking driving around here.

Have you tried to adjust it at all?

Unfortunately it's radial play, indicating worn rack guides. Axially it's still decent, which is the unfortunate part.

Is the rack identical to the same year F250? I'm thinking if the engine & trans are similar to an F250, the steering rack probably is.

Super duties run a gearbox vs the rack and pinion the lighter duty vehicles use.

Well i went to hook up the upfitter switch panel and my right rear door was still locked after hitting the key fob. So i open rf door and hit the button and still nothing.

I reach back and assume it was stuck like its done before but it comes up easily. I lock and unlock the door with the fob and dont hear anything working in the door. I know the left can have the harness wite break but does it do it to the right also?

Man all i wanted to do it make the switch connections and now I probably need an actuator ughh lol.

Check the wires in the door jamb first, more common on the rear doors but still...
