I don't know if you should be posting this, it's quite easy to tell your unlock code.
Well at least the three buttons you use to unlock for the four digit code.

What’s his unlock code then. I can see the last two buttons are worn out because.... that’s the buttons you push to lock the truck.

I'm not familiar with using the buttons to lock and unlock.

I always use my remote so the alarm arms and disarms.
But I use the key pad to unlock and lock when I don't have my key with me.
After pressing the last code the door automatically unlocks and disarms the alarm.
But will not set the alarm if trying to lock with the keypad.

Now I have a 2010 1/2, it could be since I don't have a push button start (smart key fob),
just walking up to the truck and hitting one button is a feature not available to me.

Makes cense and changes my statement on my earlier post.
And at closer look at the buttons only button 5-6 is super clean.
So that's still a lot of combos with four buttons to play with.

I will also add, it's a good thing I'm **** with cleaning my hands before touching my truck.
I'm a crane operator I have grease and diesel fuel on my hands everyday and
I did notice 10 years ago that I was starting to fade the red tab on the steering wheel.
I have condition myself to clean clean clean my hands. LOL

All the wear was from the previous owner who used the far right buttons to lock the truck more than anything. I reset the code when I bought it, so the wear has no relation to my codes.

That said, you have a good point and it was something I didn’t even consider. Thanks for your concern!

It’s pretty simple. It took me maybe 35 minutes start to finish. You have to remove the door panel, then there are 3 10mm bolts that hold the handle in place. Some people remove the handle completely, but I just moved it around until I could unclip the buttons. It was a bit of finger gymnastics to get everything back in place, but not too bad.

A red backlit would be perfect in my opinion.

Had my fab guy weld a hitch in under the Mazzulla rear bumper. Beefier steel than stock and its welded to the frame.

Just did new front rebuilds, new UCAs new lower ball joints....twas a good day
