Love the terrain color
Anyone ever have issues with the parking/e-brake sticking? I use it every time out of habit, but the last few weeks it feels like the spring that retracts it is losing tension and not retracting it so I get the parking brake engaged light... even if the brake is disengaged.
I have that same issue, same year and color too. The dealer said they can't fix it? spent all that dough and have to use my foot to lift it...
badm0t0rfinger , will do this weekend when I have it setup and I’ll post some up.Interesting setup for sure. More pictures would be appreciated!
Wire rope lube will fix your problem, just like the rear sliding window.
Unless the cable is that far gone.
On the wire as close to the wire sleeve as possible,Where would you apply the lube?
Yes I know thats a softball for a joke.
On the wire as close to the wire sleeve as possible,
spray and operate the cable to get the lube down and up inside the cable sleeve.
I do the back sliding window about once every one to two years depending how slow it moves.
I also spray the upper and lower track that it slides in, just wipe the excess off the track.
Your brake cable is going to take some time to get it all lube up.
Where would you apply the lube?
Yes I know thats a softball for a joke.
No!!! it collects dirt.Do you use white lithium grease?
No!!! it collects dirt.
That will gum up inside the cable sleeve.
This is what I and my crane company have been using for 20+ years.
And I spray my leaf springs!!!
