When you install, check at full droop. They will hit, not enough clearance. I have camburg too and running with it, screw it. I saw that KHC is stating theirs work with ICON, I might switch.

I'm looking to get rid of my extra HD +2 Deavers that I bought to stop wheel hop with the Whipple.
Now that I have traction bars and I'd like to go back to SD.
I am liking the Icons, but I have the stock Tig Welded Camburgs.

Are the Icons only hitting at full droop because the springs open up a little or is it binding in the shackle pretty good?

No binding that I can see. Yes, springs open up and it touches the shackle. I don’t think its harming anything other than the powdercoat on the shackles, hence why I left mine on.

So finally decided to have the Thrush muffler highway find/salvage installed to replace the stock as a precursor to my future SS full system. What I can report so far driving from the shop along the city streets is a much better solid sound and louder than stock and nice rumble at idle. Strong and powerful at takeoff as it should have from stock. However, not so loud that is affecting normally conversation or radio. Purposely left at same volume setting prior to installation to compare. Windows closed minor rumble and quiet at cruising speed. Still have to hit highway for finally test.

They feature 100 percent fully welded construction and an aluminized cover to resist corrosion. Backpressure is decreased by 30 percent over stock and they produce a deep performance tone under acceleration that quiets down while cruising.
Muffle cost: Zero! Highway salvage find on road trip.
Removal/Install complete: $160.00 plus tax. Shop vs me laying on ground, etc. No Brainer!

Looks just right. Might as well have a single outlet as the rest of the factory system is single pipe. Also, the outlet tip at the 45 angle helps draw out the exhaust.

Thought about that first, but I figured I try the side exit first, I was concerned about sound and or drone. Also, I left the resonator on for the same reasons. This is just a cheap temporary replacement from the original. And the best part was I just shaved what feels like 75#s net with the new one installed!





Got home and cleaned up, roughed up 100 grit and 2000° high heat flat black.

@JefeAZ I would go with Rick. He’s need steered me wrong. If it were me, I would get the pump replaced under your ESP then go with the GJ for longevity.

Yeah Im taking it in Tuesday for hopefully a quick repair. May need to turn the wheel lock to lock in the parking lot before pulling in to make sure she's extra whiny.
