They where when I killed the truck. Thought it was a little high but the factory temp gauge shows normal.

Installed my BakFlip Revolver X2 Tonneau cover!!!!

This thing is seriously sweet!!!! For those with covers, is it okay to let rain dry on it, or do I need to wipe it down? I've seen covers go through car washes so I am assuming I can just set it and forget it, is that right?

This cover is a sturdy beast. No drilling required. Install took ALL of 30min with the help of a friend and could easily be done in less time.

Took it to the dealership today. Found popping/clunk noise. Replacing LCA under warranty. Whohoo!

Also getting leaky rear differential fixed under warranty too. Really liking this new dealer that I am going to, even though it is farther away then the one only 1 mile from me.

Picked up from dealer today. Said LCA wasn't the issue, it was the Rogue UCA. Either uni-ball bad or a nut is loose, will need to check out. Had them do a tire rotation. Once again they rotated them wrong. I don't think I've gone to the dealer one time and got it rotated correctly the first try since I bought this new. Going back tomorrow to have them fix it.

SO this doesn't even begin to make sense to me!!! Its not the LCA but instead its the UCA, but they don't know which part of it is bad, they just know it is, because its aftermarket and any factory stuff wouldn't cause the problem? So why did you pick it up? They aren't capable of inspecting a worn part on a uca? Are you taking it somewhere else now?

I asked them to find out where the popping was coming from. They determined it was the UCA. I picked it up because I never really expected the dealer to fix it with aftermarket parts. I just got the UCA about 4 months ago the week of TRR. It makes senses because I noticed it several weeks after TRR. I am taking it back to who installed it for them to take a look, TMX.

Want to be positive about it, might offend a cow guy. j/k

How do you rotate tires wrong? Isn't it always front straight back and back cross to front.

It's actually the other way around. The backs go straight to the front and the fronts cross going to the back. I've been marking my tires before going in because they screw it up every single time. They always just want to go backs to front and fronts to back, no crossing. Even though their very own Ford manual tells you otherwise, most dealers and service advisors have no clue on the raptor. I even opened up the raptor supplement manual to the rotate page and put it on the dash for the tech to see how to rotate. They still screwed it up.

So I mark my tires like this:
Front
1 2
3 4
Rear

When done right, it will look like this:
Front
3 4
2 1
Rear

Today when I picked it up, they rotated it like this:
Front
3 1
2 4
Rear

Yep, tire 4 never moved...

No need to wipe it down but protect it with something. I use two different products. Adams VRT worked in real well with a foam detailing block about twice a month. In between I use Chemicals Guys matte detailer spray which is a fantastic product with great UV protection. I do the same treatment to all the graphics as well.

I've been through more touchless car washes than I can remember (harsh chemicals) and the cover (and truck in general) looks like new. Testament to various Adams and CG products.
