I had a ball joint go out on mine. Since I needed to get it aligned , I went ahead and went Mid Perch.

Installed door detent 3.0. Much better for front door opening. No more "too far" and "not far enough."

Quite easy frankly. Was a little worried about the time commitment and thus started early in the morning with cooler weather (supposed to be over 100 today). A few nuts and bolts to loosen and a bit of reaching up inside the kick panels out of sight. I'd be happy to do it again for a local member - that's how basic it is.

No door removal, no door panel removal. Just a couple sockets and string.

Those weren't bad. Even I did them myself. Hands will get scraped up, but so much better than stock.
