Spent 2 days doing superstition, Ocotillo and Borrego deserts where empty. Caught a Colarado sidewinder hiding under truck and up close with a freaky trantula wasp. Good time.

5K mile tire rotation and bled/flushed the brakes. Fluid was a nasty dark amber color. I hadn't used my Motive power bleeder in a while and forgot how great it is. Makes bleeding brakes almost enjoyable.

(3) 12oz bottles of Prestone AS800Y DOT 4 synthetic did the trick. I like this fluid a lot. If you're running hard you can get better performance out of Motul but I found it to retain more water quicker in previous vehicles which requires more frequent changes. The Prestone lasts longer and still has good performance on hard braking.

I put the tonneau cover back on (fits perfect with @t_j's custom brackets), strapped in two 5gal gas cans and the 2nd spare in preparation for my trip out to Vegas next week.
