I don't have a bed extender, and was looking at the SDHQ unit. Just never did see instruction on installing them. I do need to pickup a set before the next raptor event this spring to try and keep the backflip from popping up when running hard. It has popped open a few times.

Looks like it bolts to the rear bumper mount location. I am thinking this might not work with the SVC rear bumper I have as it only uses two out of the three bolts on each side. Could not tell from the instructions pics if it uses the top two bolts or the bottom two. Top 2 should work but the bottom one is not used by the SVC.

I have the SDHQ hidden support installed and I still use the bed extender. You can't use the pins to lock the bed extender when extended but it still works. Rubs the bolt head a bit when you rotate the bed extender. I plan to get some button head bolts to it rubs less.

So are you tying down the extender instead? And yes I was aware that it uses the bed holes that are used to lock the pins and that to me would be an issue.

We have installed the sdhq bed brace along with the baja v1 rear
