Just added the running board extenders today, pretty straight forward. They look real different but when the running boards are clean, they will match perfect. It's been a mucky mess around here. I don't like the looks of them as much as not having them on , but its getting old grabbing a soaking wet dirty door handle, and stepping up into a mud fest on top of the running boards. Obviously when Ford tested this setup with the big gap there, it worked fine in the SAND!

I've been in England for a week driving a Vauxhall. I REALLY miss the Raptor. Like really really.
Ha those things suck! I have been here 3 weeks stuck riding shotgun in a Renault 2 door. My truck sent me an email today telling me it missed me and was getting a low battery because I hadn't been driving it.

Removed tail pipe exhaust and installed my off-road cut-off Ford Racing tail pipe. Weather finally wasn't raining or sleeting so figured I better do it now to get ready for SnoBall as I have no idea how the weather will be the next several weeks.

And finally got the bed stabilizers installed since waiting for nearly 3 months from TMX and not even in the color I ordered, black. Took what I could get. They did custom length it for me as their standard length ones are too long for their own Bed Cage.

Rick,

Did you look at the SDHQ hidden bedside support system? I have it, but it isn't in yet, as I didn't want to hinder loading/unloading from the bed.

Yeah, I did look hard at theirs and considered pulling that trigger but at first I wanted the functionality to still install the bed extender and with that one you can no longer as it uses the holes. My TMX bed rack already had a spot for the bed stabilizers connections but not sure if I could still use the extenders with the upper mounts screwed into the bed side now. The stabilizers definitely help from keeping the Roll-X from popping off.

Hmmm didn't know about the bed extender. Thank for the info. Sounds like I have to McGyver something to make it work together.

That's why I'm using the external mounted bed support system. I don't need them 24/7 and need full use of my bed quite often. When its party time I bolt em in.

I don't have a bed extender, and was looking at the SDHQ unit. Just never did see instruction on installing them. I do need to pickup a set before the next raptor event this spring to try and keep the backflip from popping up when running hard. It has popped open a few times.
