I bought mine when I bought my raptor (out of state). I had the dealer add it to the order. If installed at time of purchase then it is covered under the 3yr factory warranty. They charged me $105 for install. They never mentioned the LED and I was having an issue where I wasn't sure if it was armed, no visual clue. Someone here on FRF mentioned it months ago about the LED but they mounted it on the steering column (yeck). I ordered it for $15 from my dealer and installed it myself. You pop the panel off the driver side to access the unit. I removed the driver cluster top, it just pops off. Down towards the front by the clip, you drill a 9/32 hole and squeeze in the LED (I also applied glue) then route the cable down and plug in. Snap the top cover on and side panel. Done

tbh i would spend the money on q viper system if i where you

The Viper quotes were higher, and I'm a sucker for OEM stuff. I didn't go to the website. I just gave the part numbers to my dealer and asked him for a quote.

Considering how well those guys take care of me I'm not going to nickel and dime them. I don't mind paying for a good job. And I don't begrudge them wanting to make a few bucks. As long as the install is done right and they stand behind it, I prefer having my dealer just take care of it. My experience with my dealer has been outstanding.

I'm all for saving a buck. But sometimes I just need stuff done. Two emails, scheduled at my convenience, and done right. I'm ok paying for that. YMMV.

Front camera and lock pick coming up next. The Camera Source kit is my leading contender as I already have a backup camera. $600 for the lock pick, camera, and OEM bracket for installing the camera on the grille. That sounds interesting.

That looks good, but I'm too lazy to do it myself, especially for $25-$100.
@t_j does the viper let you set heated seats and all that?
There are various modules for it im sure the car stereo company can tell you how to wire one of the auxes for that.

As long as it is remote started, the seats should come on regardless who starts it

I have remote start. It starts but I have to manually turn on the seats when I get in. Lame

You have the 801A package right? The seat turn on when remote started and the settings in the cluster dash is set to Auto. They on low so it takes awhile.
