Thanks. I remember watching that exact video before we did my transmission the first time 6 months ago. Going to be taking it apart again today or tomorrow. Maybe the locking clip that holds the bulkhead connecter slipped out. Who knows.

To me it's not looking good on the rockers, I would start saving for those. Being in the salt belt I would really look hard at the cab corners as these rust from the inside out, by the time you see a rust bubble start there it's to late.

Getting ready for rust prevention for the first time(bought it middle of winter last year), cab corners look amazing but this is what my rockers look like. I know all about fluid film/woolwax retaping etc, but how screwed am I with these rockers? Can wire wheel and paint save it or should I start saving now for new ones? Meh, I’ve seen worse.

Seriously, cut the rust off and get slip on rockers. POR-15 everywhere. You can get ahead of it at this point rather inexpensively especially if you are going to do the work yourself.
