I finally removed the plastidip that I had on my fender flares and did a few coats of spray on bed liner instead. I love the look of the black fender flares with my terrain truck and black shell, so I decided to fully commit rather than put another coat of plastidip on.

Started off with a much needed wash...

Removed the flares, pressure washed the plasti-dip off and sanded them down

I did around 5 coats of this stuff(3 cans). I used it on my front bumper a year ago and it's held up well.

These trucks look pretty funny without the flares!

The finished product. It matches really well with my ARE camper shell which has a textured/sprayed on section. I also replaced all the clips and plastic pieces on the fender flares so it'd look nice and new. If you're bored, see if you can spot all my other Ford trucks in the photos...

I did the same 4-5 times and they looked pretty bad before I removed the plasti-dip. If you have 0 offset wheels and/or off-road pretty often as I do, the fender flares take a beating, so I'm hoping the bedliner spray on stuff holds up better than the plasti-dip.
