Took it to the dealership to get the drivers door switch module replaced under warranty. Figured while I was there they could swap the spare in the bed with the front left corner as the tpms is bust in that one. They did that then on the way home found Firestone didn't balance that wheel correctly. Then when I got home found the center cap was missing from the wheel they took off and that they had cracked the cover for the tailgate step I guess dropping the tire on it.

Needless to say I probably won't use rizza ford again after they fix this.

Rough day. Did your spare have a TPMS sensor in it already?

GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

The spare that was in the bed was my second and a rim with TPMS rather than the black spare rim which is not on the truck atm. The TPMS in the spare rim I bought a while back must have died, or they busted it during the tire change, but I can't be sure, they are rebalancing the wheel for free at least. Hopefully the service manager from the dealership gets back to me today and lets me know what he is going to do to correct the other issues.

At least I get to spend another 4 hours working from random coffee shops waiting rather than cooped up in the office.

Sitting at the dealership now waiting on oil change to be done. One of the free ones with the extented maintenance.
So I was informed the other day that my plan only had a limited number of changes and if I used them all before the milage was up I would have to cover the rest but other maintainance would still be covered. This was not explained to me when I bought the plan and seems odd especially as the chance the recommended interval based on use type.

Yes thats the way it works! My problem is I don't put enough miles on so I change in between dealer changes because other wise I'd never hit the mileage thet require for oil change so dealer does once a year and I do at 6 month.
