I had the Raptor loaded up onto the Auto Train while I am in the Passenger car as the trip to the GLRE Time Attack has started. Tomorrow when I get to our house in MD will go ahead and do an Oil Change in prep for the second leg up to Michigan

I detailed the engine bay, while spraying plastidip on my grill/front bumper/rigid d2's. I also blacked out the front amber marker lights with Nightshades. You can see my skid plate, which I also dipped in the background. Busy, busy, busy.

I didn't clean the air filter, I know there mud on it, one thing at a time.

I need to pull the dip off my skid plate. Mud has stained it so bad that it won't come clean. I'm gonna put the damn thing in the spray booth and paint the ****** this time around.

Sent from two Dixie cups and a piece of bailing twine.

Jason, looked fine. That driveshaft is so completely weak there is nothing on the truck it could hurt. It was like squashing a metal beer bottle. and Im not exaggerating. I picked the entire thing up and threw it in the back of the truck with one hand. I dont think it weighs 10lbs. swear.

That's good to hear.

I also drag race and I have seen some nasty damage due to drive shaft failure. That's why NHRA mandates a driveshaft safety loop. They can still cause some hefty damage even with one of those installed.

Yea, a DS failure on a car is INSANE.. On a truck it is not nearly the same as you do not have the same tunnel for the DS as the car does. You do not want to be sitting in the rear seats when a DS breaks on a mustang or camaro its not pretty.

I would like to replace the bumper/skid plate at some point. At that point, I would have them Line-X'd, this is temporary:
