I bought a set of used stock shocks from a member on here about 6 months ago. Made up a holding jig for the shocks and some tools to work on them.
Did the rebuild of the rear shocks today and got started on the fronts. New seal kits from shockseals.com along with schrader valves and trying some internal tweaks.

Shock rebuilding is one of those things I wished I could do myself, but since there's so many guys near here that do it, I always end up using them. And every time I walk into those places, I see a bigger, shinier shock that I suddenly need. That's how I ended up with King 4.0 bypasses on the rear of an '05 4wd Tundra. They had one already built for a customer who canceled his order, they needed to finish and sell the pair, and we all know what happens next.

For you, not having to pay duty or anything, I would just get new ones, cheaper! Not sure if the rears are available yet online though.

Yeah no kidding. im gonna get a new set but i was just gonna rebuild the take offs so id be able to just swap them when needed.

so...... when you walking into those places again? im sure they have 4.5s now. cause, well you know, i know someone who can use the 4.0s

It's that damn line in the dirt called a border. We used to ship parts all over North America. Costs more to go 400 miles in Canada than from WA state to Maine.

Definitely does i sent weathertech floormats for a buddies f150 in texas from maine and it was about $80

If your near the Maine border just meet me at the treeline and toss it over to me and ill ship it LOL

Installed some more bulbs and did some detailing. Also, if anyone needs a set of oe hid bulbs let me know. I will put them in the "pay it forward thread" along with a photo.
