Anybody used one of these drill & bolt up-style trans drain plugs on a 6R80? Any opinions good or bad? It's not going to see extreme pressure, and it sure makes changing fluid easier.

I dont see why it wouldn't work as long as there's room inside the pan.

Still working on getting the bed side installed. Looking for what the actual interference is before I keep cutting…..

I did get it dovetailed this evening though. The shape of the fender is somewhat hard to lay the dovetail angle on. Something about the curve kinda messes with how straight the tape lays. I ended up laying tape, marking where I wanted it with pencil, making my own pencil mark (both using the tape and freehand), and then making the actual line with segments of tape. It worked pretty ok actually.

The angle you look at it kinda plays tricks on you whether it is straight or not too…

Well that or I screwed up lol

It will look just fine once you put some edge moulding where you cut it, if you plan on doing that.
