im used to driving with true winter tires on all my vehicles, this is the first time I havent. I would grab the Nokians if they didnt cost $2k lol.

The only other "truck" winter tire ive seen is this one.

the price is right, and i just found out they come in 17's. Last year they did not. That price is canadian too, so its like a case of beer in USD lol

Lol.

Heck yeah nokian tyres are amazing!! Even their all season ones i used on my tahoe worked great in the snow. Ive never run winter tires on my trucks but i do on my wifes car.

Those grizzly tires are neat looking. it shows $1300 for me so idk if id chance that price on tires ive never heard of over a bit more for nokian.

Check on kijiji for Nokian tires as you can sometimes find good deals. I bought a set of 6 studded Nokian tires last summer with on 1000km on them for $1500, as the previous owner bought them for his dually lifted Dodge and then sold it for a Jeep SUV. Tires were like new with no missing studs or damage at all. Previous set of 4 studded Nokians I also found on kijiji 3.5 years ago for $1000 with around 5000km on them.

While returning from a trip during what I’m calling, snow/ice/rain-mageddon, I discovered my air system won’t switch away from blowing out the vents. No matter what I switch to, defrost or floor it still only blows out the vents. Looks like I will be troubleshooting that actuator in the drivers footwell this morning. Looks like I may have finally joined the actuator fail club. Stay tuned!

The alarm has it's own connection and gps and yes, you could get an alert in Cabo for low battery voltage and remote start the truck in Alaska to charge the battery. And if somebody tries to ****** it the alarm will flash every light on the truck while the siren scares the shit out of them. Different plans available for how often you want to ping the location etc. Next is to get my insurance discount since it will tel me where it's at of some idiot tries to steal it.
Please post specific app information. I doubt I’ll ever have any problems with theft attempts as I set my alarm off regularly and have no idea how; plus we have cameras everywhere on our compound because of having numerous work trucks/trailers and collectible vehicles. But it sounds like it will be another nice toy to play with on my Raptor. Who knows, might install it on a few other vehicles.
i have the viper smart start. its the same thing, just a little cheaper on the subscriptionScreenshot_20220205-092637.jpg

That one is only a 10 minute job bro!!! As long as you're not too fat and can lay on your back, slide the seat all the way back, use a little 1/4 inch socket rachet set , cant remember the size of the screws, they are small and 3 of them. Use a small flat screwdriver to unclip the harness from it first.

LOL, I did get on my back under there and physically tried to move the lever, but it would not budge. Looks like it should be doable. However I had to take all the dang paneling around the passenger side apart to get the stupid little fuse (46?) that I dropped while trying to reinsert it. I dropped that thing like 6 times trying to put it back. Now just need to research the correct actuator. Have seen one for about $45 and another (which looked identical) for 10x as much. Had to put it off for now as I had to go out of state again today. Thanks for the input!
