Wheels and tires look great, those cab corners look like they need some new meet also!
You are correct. Didn’t know about sunroof drains before I got one of these trucks or I would have gone without - I use it like twice a year when the kids clamor for it.

It really is crazy how much the Gen 1 and 2 look alike, side by side, you can hardly tell the difference. The Gen 1 truly is a timeless work of art. J/K nice truck but your in the Gen 1 section.

I installed the SVC Bump stop kit with King stops. The weather in northern CA has been non-stop rain, so I pulled the truck into my garage... It fits with about 3 inches of clearance.

I jacked it up by the rear axle, then put jack stands under the rear recovery hooks and lowered the axle back down. I had to get some newer jack stands as the standard height didn't allow me to drop the axle low enough.

The sun did come out briefly, but it was short lived! Having the extra light made things a little easier.

Installing the actual kit wasn't too difficult. The supplied tool made getting the bolts inside the frame an easy job.

I took the opportunity to clean up the 3.0s while they were off the truck and let WD40 soak into the u-bolt nuts as they were a bit beat from both weather and contact with rocks.

Everything installed and wrapped up. I made sure to leave the u-bolt nuts a bit loose until truck was back on the ground.

There previous owner installed Deaver springs, but didn't change the plate, or stops, so the stock stops were even more useless than they are on a stock truck.

Everything tightened and hit a few bumps and rough roads around to make sure everything is snug. I've been using the truck to get out into BLM land to do long range lead farming, so with the camper shell, and around 1200lbs of bodies and other metal things(lots of steel targets), the truck was sagging a bit which made me nervous to hit some of the trails at speed. Looking forward to getting back out and enjoying a bit more security knowing that there's an extra layer or protection before my frame bends!

I hope everyone is having Merry Christmas!
