What did u do to your raptor today?

I’ve been having a long crank on cold start issue for the past few weeks followed by sort of a stumble once actually firing. It has also felt kinda lazy under normal driving conditions but that coulda just been in my head. I suspected battery first and possible fuel pump problem second.

It was low on gas so I filled up at a different gas station than normal on Friday night. It sat all weekend and it was in the low 20s this morning. Fired up in a snap with zero issues. Same at the end of my shift after sitting for 11 hours.

It is rare for me to get an easy solution to anything so I’m treasuring this small victory.

I would get some Star-tron Enzyme Fuel treatment and some Techron Injector cleaner.

Nope. I didnt really drive it that far so ill know more when i drive it home. I can tell its a bit deeper and rumbly lol

My favorite better exhaust on a Gen 1 Raptor for cheap was deleting the resonator and replacing the muffler with a Flowmaster 50 series HD muffler (p/n 9530582). You need to do a little welding but its a chop and swap... no drone, big block sound... but then I went long tubes and dual exhaust...

Yeah i just wanted a temporary bump in sound till i can afford the dirty deeds one lol. I may get that one just to get me by if im not happy with just this. I have to keep it on the quiet side cause im on a dead end road in the sticks and like my neighbors lol
