Had some 1" hex stock that i cut to an inch long and with a 1" wrench, took the slack out of my rack... much better... without touching the rack mounting bolts... by the way... one more thing, had read it was a 27 mm hex, it maybe, but the 27 mm hex stock i cut down would not fit... just my experience... 1" was loose but bit nicely and made the adjustment easy... the i inch length allows it to fit pas the brake line mounting tab (front passenger hard line) and still get a wrench on it...
Nice. Did you have any "clunking" in the front end? If so, did it quiet it down? I want to do this to mine. Just need to find something to tighten it with.

Fixed a noise, lol. Had some RPG collars installed the other day and when he drove up there was a clanking behind the center cap. Figured it was either this or the center cap metal ring, which these actually do not have. Did not know that at the time. So popped off the cap and here ya go. Normally...these are a pain to get out.

Hoping I fixed that darn rear brake squeal. Had the lower right pin stuck and the upper left pin stuck as well. Used my shotgun cleaning kit, wired wheel, and a few choice words to get it cleaned up. I’ll probably buy new caliper brackets if it still squeals during low speed braking. Nothing says look at me like brake squeal rolling to a stop sign or traffic light!
